Recap: Western Guilford Hornets vs. Ragsdale Tigers
On Friday, while it was The Western Guilford Hornets who put the first points on the board, it was the Ragsdale Tigers who put up more. Western Guilford fell to Ragsdale 17-13. Western Guilford has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Although Western Guilford took the loss, they still got scores from Tim Baker and Christopher Coltrane.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ragsdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Fabian Diggs, who rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown. Diggs was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Javontae Ford, who rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown.
Western Guilford has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Ragsdale, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.
Western Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ragsdale also has no future games currently scheduled.
