Basketball Game Preview: Wheaton Academy Warriors vs. Marmion Cadets

The Wheaton Academy Warriors will face off against the Marmion Cadets at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Last Thursday, everything came up roses for Wheaton Academy against Parkview Christian Academy as the squad secured a 60-24 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Marmion beat Bartlett 67-54 on Thursday.

Marmion pushed their record up to 18-13 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points over those games. As for Wheaton Academy, their win bumped their record up to 20-8.

Wheaton Academy strolled past Marmion when the teams last played back in February of 2019 by a score of 75-59. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wheaton Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
