Volleyball Recap: Williston Northampton Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Williston Northampton's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Miss Porter. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory Miss Porter's walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2016.

Williston Northampton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-12.

Blue Myerson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high. Kayleigh Mazuroski also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Williston Northampton's win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-10. As for Miss Porter's, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

As of now, neither Williston Northampton nor Miss Porter's have any future games scheduled.
