Basketball Recap: Decatur Takes a Loss

Decatur lost against Cascade Christian back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Decatur Golden Gators took a blow against the Cascade Christian Cougars, falling 94-52. While losing is never fun, the Golden Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while the Cougars are ranked 104th).

Decatur has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Cascade Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Decatur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cascade Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against King's at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in King's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
