Schoolhouse Prep extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Academy for Innovative Education. They put the hurt on the Aviators with a sharp 12-2 win. Winning may never get old, but the Wolfpack sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Samantha Torres looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Valeria Vazquez was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Angelly Benitez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Schoolhouse Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since the start of last season.

Schoolhouse Prep's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.5 runs. As for Academy for Innovative Education, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Schoolhouse Prep will take on Miami Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Victors' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Wolfpack's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Academy for Innovative Education does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
