Volleyball Recap: Sheldon Comes Up Short

Sheldon's tournament run continued when they took on Wilcox on Saturday. The Huskies fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Sheldon sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 18-25, 15-8.

Sheldon's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Wilcox, they pushed their record up to 6-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Sheldon will head out to take on Cosumnes Oaks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilcox, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Northgate on the 28th.
