Baseball Recap: Bluffton Tigers vs. Bellmont Braves
While Bluffton's victory against Bellmont wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Braves 13-11. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Axton Beste made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
