Granite Bay is a perfect 4-0 against Jesuit since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Grizzlies will head out to square off against the Marauders at 4:30 p.m. Granite Bay will be strutting in after a win while Jesuit will be coming in after a loss.

If Granite Bay beats Jesuit with eight runs on Monday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Grizzlies came out on top against Oak Ridge by a score of 8-3 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grizzlies.

Meanwhile, Jesuit came up short against Del Oro on Thursday and fell 5-1.

Jesuit saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden McKinnon, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Granite Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 10-14.

Granite Bay came out on top in a nail-biter against Jesuit when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grizzlies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
