Sacred Heart waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Blackduck Drakes by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Lexi Lawrence paced Sacred Heart's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lawrence got some help from Finley Horken and her 20 assists. Lawrence was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Sacred Heart's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Blackduck, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Sacred Heart has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Park Rapids on the 13th. Blackduck has also already played their next game (against Lake Park-Audubon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
