Softball Recap: Meridian Comes Up Short

Meridian managed to slip by Skyline the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mustangs lost 10-0 to the Hawks on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meridian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Skyline, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Meridian and Skyline will both be playing Warren County the next time they take the field. The Hawks will host the Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Mustangs will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
