Volleyball Recap: Davis Darts vs. Syracuse Titans
Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Syracuse Titans. The Darts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-13.
Karlie Hamblin was the offensive standout of the game as she had 16 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last 12 games she's played dating back to last season.
Davis' loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Syracuse, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.
Davis will take on Layton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Syracuse, they will head out on the road to square off against Weber at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Syracuse is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
