Basketball Game Preview: Evanston Devils vs. Green River Wolves

The Evanston Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Green River Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Saturday, Evanston was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to Natrona County. The Devils have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Green River took a blow against Star Valley on Saturday, falling 68-36. The match marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Evanston's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Green River, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Evanston strolled past Green River in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 63-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Evanston since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
