Volleyball Recap: Ann Sobrato Falls Short of Burlingame in the Playoffs

Ann Sobrato and Burlingame squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Ann Sobrato had to settle for second. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-12, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Ann Sobrato saw an underclassman step up: freshman Madeline Blair had 14 digs and two assists. Blair has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Ann Sobrato's defeat dropped their record down to 15-19. As for Burlingame, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-13 record this season.

Ann Sobrato does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burlingame, they will square off against Monta Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
