Basketball Recap: Thomas Thigpin's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Trinity Christian over Mcintosh + How To Watch

Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 59-45 bruising from the McIntosh Chiefs. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chiefs from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Thomas Thigpin, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 13 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Stanford, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 14 points.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for McIntosh, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Trinity Christian will take on Stephenson at 12:15 p.m. on Monday. As for McIntosh, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Starr's Mill at 7:30 p.m. on December 3.
