Baseball Game Preview: Ford Trojans vs. Lincoln-King Academy Eagles

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles two weeks ago. Lincoln-King Academy narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Chandler Park Academy 9-8.

Lincoln-King Academy let Ali Gill and Quinn Nimmons run wild. Gill went 2-for-3 with one triple, while Nimmons went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. Markel Byrd was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Lincoln-King Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Ford, their loss dropped their record down to 1-21.
