Basketball Recap: Cohoes Piles Up the Points Against Lansingburgh

Cohoes's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed by the Lansingburgh Knights to the tune of 44-11. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cohoes' win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 4-10. As for Lansingburgh, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Cohoes will venture away from home to take on Catholic Central at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. Catholic Central will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Cohoes surely won't give up without a fight. Lansingburgh has already played their next matchup (against Berlin/New Lebanon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
