Volleyball Recap: Wahoo Comes Up Short

Wahoo lost against Ashland-Greenwood back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Bluejays. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Kendelynn Scheele and Morgan Muller, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Avah Bowers and her nine assists. Finally, Claire Emerson kept Wahoo's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Wahoo's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Wahoo will welcome Nebraska City on Tuesday. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they are taking a road trip to face off against Ralston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
