Basketball Recap: Trinity Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Trinity extended their home winning streak to ten games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Iniya Charlton. The Trinity Trojans took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 57-25 win over the Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves thanks in part to Charlton, who went 5 of 9 en route to 11 points and seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 39 games she's played dating back to last season.

Nilah Thornton was another key player, putting up eight points along with five rebounds and three steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Trinity has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
