Baseball Game Preview: Whitehall Railroaders vs. Corinth Riverhawks

The Whitehall Railroaders will take on the Corinth Riverhawks at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Whitehall has given up an average of 10.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Whitehall is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Wednesday. They lost 12-2 to Granville.

Meanwhile, Corinth didn't have quite enough to beat Hadley Luzerne on Friday and fell 5-4. The Riverhawks haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Dylan Halliday was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Whitehall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Corinth, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
