Game recap: Northern Guilford High School Football Team bests Chapel Hill

The scores gave the senior 38 touchdowns for the year.

After taking the lead on a T.J. Logan touchdown run in the first quarter, Northern Guilford (Greensboro, N.C.) led 36-0 at the half.

The Nighthawks expanded their lead to 43 points entering the fourth quarter. Northern Guilford's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by Logan.

NG put up 22 points in the second quarter en route to the win. The Greensboro school rushed for three touchdowns on the ground during the quarter, including two by Logan.



The Nighthawks went into the matchup giving up only 5.8 points per game. Chapel Hill (N.C.)'s zero points were well below its season average of 16.4 per game.

The loss comes after Chapel Hill defeated Douglas Byrd 23-20 last week.
