Grainger has gone 9-1 against Claiborne recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Grainger Grizzlies will square off against the Claiborne Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Grainger has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Grainger is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since April 30, 2024 on Monday. They lost 19-7 to Cocke County.

McKenna Kee was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2. Amanda Kledzik was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Claiborne waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Indians as they made off with a 10-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Kinley Mullins was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Jacey Ferguson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Claiborne hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive games.

Claiborne's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Grainger, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Grainger beat Claiborne 8-4 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Does Grainger have another victory up their sleeve, or will Claiborne turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
