Basketball Game Preview: Gilbert Yellowjackets vs. East Granby Crusaders

Gilbert is a perfect 3-0 against East Granby since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Gilbert Yellowjackets will square off against the East Granby Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. Gilbert has given up an average of 60.2 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Gilbert is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Northwestern Regional by a score of 75-68 back in February.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but East Granby had no problem doing just that on Monday. They strolled past the Raiders with points to spare, taking the game 47-30.

The victory got Gilbert back to even at 2-2. As for East Granby, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Gilbert was able to grind out a solid victory over East Granby in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, winning 51-38. Does Gilbert have another victory up their sleeve, or will East Granby turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
