Basketball Game Preview: Foothill Knights vs. King Wolves

Having just played yesterday, the Foothill Knights will get right back to it and host the King Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Foothill was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-53 to Woodrow Wilson.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but King ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They secured a 49-45 W over Wilson. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

King's win came from a few key players Foothill will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Mark Cadena, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 15 boards. Cadena is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least 11 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Cristian Quintero, who posted 12 points.

King smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Foothill now has a losing record of 1-2. As for King, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
