Basketball Game Preview: West St. John Rams vs. Central Catholic Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the West St. John Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Central Catholic Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West St. John will be strutting in after a win while Central Catholic will be coming in after a defeat.

West St. John is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy to the tune of 52-15 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Central Catholic entered their matchup against New Iberia on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Central Catholic fell to New Iberia 37-32.

Central Catholic's loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-5. As for West St. John, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.
