Basketball Game Preview: Morris Eagles vs. Beggs Demons

The Morris Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Beggs Demons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Morris will be strutting in after a victory while Beggs will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Saturday, Morris earned a 44-32 win over Wewoka.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Beggs' good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 63-45 bruising from KIPP Tulsa University Prep.

Morris has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Beggs, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Morris didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Beggs in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 46-42 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Morris since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
