Dynamic duo of Lexi Powell (sykes) and Alissa Cheek lead Rosman to victory

Recap: Rosman Tigers vs. Mitchell Mountaineers
In what's become a running theme this season, the Rosman Tigers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Mitchell 59-39. The victory was nothing new for Rosman as they're now sitting on five straight.
Leading Rosman to victory were Lexi Powell (sykes) and Alissa Cheek. Powell (sykes) scored 16 points, while Cheek scored 18 points.
Rosman is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Mitchell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosman will take on NCSSM: Morganton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rosman is facing NCSSM: Morganton at the right time seeing as NCSSM: Morganton is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Mitchell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Unicoi County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
