Basketball Recap: Maysville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Stewartsville/Osborn last Friday, Maysville came back down to earth. The Maysville Wolverines were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 55-54 to the Penney Hornets. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wolverines came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Hornets are ranked 314th).
