Basketball Recap: Evansville Bosse Takes a Loss

Evansville Bosse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Castle Knights, falling 62-31. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Knights are ranked 35th).

Castle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Scott led the charge by going 5 of 12 en route to 13 points. Jordan Scott was another key player, going 6 for 7 on her way to 16 points.

Evansville Bosse's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Castle, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

Evansville Bosse will venture away from home to take on Evansville Mater Dei at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Castle has already played their next matchup, a 59-47 defeat against Evansville Central on the 29th.
