Basketball Recap: Houma Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Grand Isle on Friday, Houma Christian came back down to earth. The Houma Christian Warriors were beaten by the South Lafourche Tarpons 72-39 on Saturday. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Houma Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for South Lafourche, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Houma Christian and Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Houma Christian is facing Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy at the right time seeing as Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. South Lafourche will take on St. Charles Catholic in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
