Football Recap: Meade County Takes a Loss

Meade County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Collins Titans, falling 37-7. The Green Waves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Meade County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Collins, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Meade County and Collins could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. The Green Waves will face off against Owensboro Catholic at 8:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (89 vs. 22). Meanwhile, Collins (ranked 40th) will meet Scott County (ranked tenth) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
