Softball Recap: Dinwiddie Gets the Win

While Dinwiddie put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Thomas Dale. The Generals were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Generals also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The result came thanks to Emily Jordan's shutout, as she gave up just a hit.

On the hitting side, Michaela Shell was a standout: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Addison Williams was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Dinwiddie's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Thomas Dale, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Dinwiddie will be playing in front of their home fans against Prince George at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thomas Dale, they will head out to take on Cosby at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
