Volleyball Recap: Madison West Takes a Loss

Madison West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Middleton Cardinals, falling 3-0. If the Regents were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-12.

Madison West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-25. As for Middleton, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Madison West and Verona will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Regents surely won't give up without a fight. As for Middleton, they will be taking part in a tournament against De Pere at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
