Volleyball Recap: Landmark Academy Comes Up Short

Landmark Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Austin Catholic Crusaders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Landmark Academy of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Landmark Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Austin Catholic's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-9, 25-10.

Landmark Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Austin Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Landmark Academy will head out to take on More Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Austin Catholic, they will venture away from home to face off against University Liggett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
