Softball Recap: Siegel Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Siegel's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Ravenwood Raptors by a score of 10-5. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Stars considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Siegel's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Ravenwood, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Siegel will be taking part in a tournament against Brentwood at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Siegel's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Brentwood's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Ravenwood, they will venture away from home to challenge Summit at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
