Football Recap: Bullitt Central Takes a Loss

The Bullitt Central Cougars ended up a good deal behind the Scott Eagles on Friday and lost 35-21. While the Cougars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 14-6 in the first quarter.

Scott's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lucas Tomlin led the charge by rushing for 127 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Aaron Hampton was in the mix as well, providing the Eagles with two touchdowns.

This is the second loss in a row for Bullitt Central and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Scott, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Bullitt Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Breckinridge County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Scott, they will venture away from home to face off against Clay County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
