Basketball Recap: King's Ridge Christian Takes a Loss

King's Ridge Christian lost against Galloway back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The King's Ridge Christian Tigers were dealt a 64-16 loss at the hands of the Galloway Scots. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 299th, while the Scots are ranked 53rd).

King's Ridge Christian moved to 6-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Galloway, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

King's Ridge Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-39 loss against Fellowship Christian on the 25th. As for Galloway, they will take on Whitefield Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Galloway's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
