Classical's contest on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand the Circle Thunderbirds a 4-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Classical sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Classical pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for Circle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Classical will welcome Trinity Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Academy's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Classical's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Circle, they will host Augusta at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
