Basketball Recap: Littlefield Snags Ninth Victory in Last 11 Games

There's no place like home for Littlefield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 58-50 victory over the Muleshoe Mules on Tuesday. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while the Mules are ranked 869th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Littlefield is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Muleshoe, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-21.

Littlefield has already played their next contest (against Roosevelt), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Muleshoe has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Friona.
