Soccer Game Preview: North Forsyth vs. Parkland

The North Forsyth Vikings will challenge the Parkland Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

After dropping their season opener at home, Parkland is headed out to face a North Forsyth squad ready to give their home crowd a win. North Forsyth fell 4-2 to East Davidson on Tuesday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Vikings couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Parkland's offense. They came up short against Central Davidson on Monday, falling 5-0. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly five goals.

North Forsyth beat Parkland by a goal in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 2-1. Does North Forsyth have another victory up their sleeve, or will Parkland turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
