Softball Recap: Dobie Longhorns vs. Pearland Oilers

Dobie lost against Pearland back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dobie Longhorns fell 11-6 to the Pearland Oilers.

Lili Sepulveda made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Martinez, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Even though they lost, Dobie hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most two strikeouts in three consecutive contests.
