Schurz had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Roosevelt Rough Riders. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Rough Riders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Schurz not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Roosevelt between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16.

Schurz pushed their record up to 7-7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Roosevelt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Schurz will welcome Northtown at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pumas will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
