Boyertown won the last time they faced Upper Perkiomen and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Boyertown Bears snuck past the Upper Perkiomen Indians with a 44-38 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Boyertown was led to victory by Trey Kern and Joey Schreiner. Kern almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds, while Schreiner posted 14 points and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Kern has scored at least a third of Boyertown's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quayier Coleman, who earned two points and six boards.

Boyertown's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Upper Perkiomen, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Boyertown will head out on the road to take on Norristown at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Norristown is on a seven-game streak of home losses, Boyertown a seven-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change. As for Upper Perkiomen, they will host Phoenixville at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
