Basketball Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short

Frontier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-33 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chargin' Chargers from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Macee Norman was the offensive standout of the contest as she almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Crum, who posted six points and seven boards.

Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Montgomery, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Frontier will venture away from home to challenge Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for North Montgomery, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 36-34 victory against Attica on the 14th.
