Softball Recap: Columbia's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Columbia brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Salem a 13-0 shutout on Friday. Considering Columbia has won six contests by more than 11 runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Columbia moved to 9-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Salem, they now also have a losing record of 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia will square off against Richton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Salem, they will face off against Tylertown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
