Houston Math Science & Tech was not the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cesar E. Chavez Lobos, sneaking past 2-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Houston Math Science & Tech's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 213th, while Cesar E. Chavez are ranked 554th).

Houston Math Science & Tech's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-5. As for Cesar E. Chavez, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12-3.
