Basketball Game Preview: Berkley Bears vs. Franklin Patriots

The Berkley Bears will host the Franklin Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Berkley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Berkley earned a 57-44 win over Royal Oak. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Jacob Friedman and Sam Sermo were among the main playmakers for Berkley as the former dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds and the latter posted 18 points. The dominant performance gave Friedman a new career-high in points. Bryce Armstrong was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, Franklin didn't have quite enough to beat Gabriel Richard on Tuesday and fell 35-33. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Berkley's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
