Softball Recap: Comstock Takes a Loss

Comstock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-3 to the Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Irish this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Friday.

Comstock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hackett Catholic Prep, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Comstock and Hackett Catholic Prep will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Colts are set to square off against their familiar foe Bangor at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hackett Catholic Prep will face off against rival Kalamazoo Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
