Softball Game Preview: South Haven Rams vs. Kellogg Panthers

The South Haven Rams will take on the Kellogg Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Haven has four straight wins, Kellogg has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

South Haven's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Watervliet as they made off with a 17-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Kellogg fell victim to Gobles and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 16-0. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 16 runs.

South Haven's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Kellogg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
