Basketball Recap: Prescott Picks Up Seventh Straight Win on the Road

Prescott had won six straight road games and Bella Abt did her part to make it seven on Monday. The Prescott Badgers claimed a resounding 72-22 win over the ALA - Queen Creek Patriots thanks in part to Abt, who almost dropped a triple-double on 20 points, 14 boards, and nine steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Cate Jones, who posted nine points and six rebounds. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Prescott has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for ALA - Queen Creek, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Prescott wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-40 defeat against Flagstaff on the 15th. ALA - Queen Creek has also already played their next contest, a 43-31 loss against Combs on the 15th.
