Football Recap: Burrell Takes a Loss

After flying high against Valley last Friday, Burrell came back down to earth. The Bucs lost 42-21 to the Highlands Golden Rams on Friday. The Bucs have struggled against the Golden Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Burrell's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Highlands, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Burrell will take on Imani Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Highlands, they will face off against McGuffey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Rams will be up against the Highlanders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
